1. PPDA Most Compliant Award

National Social Security Fund was recognized as the Most Compliant Entity in public disclosure of information in Procurement and adherence to the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Authority (PPDA)’s Reporting Requirements in the financial year 2019/2020.

2. Regional Award – CGISA Integrated Reporting Awards.

NSSF won the Regional award in the CGISA Integrated Reporting awards that are aimed at encouraging solid financial and non-financial reporting and full disclosure of information to all stakeholders of the Southern African business fraternity and other stakeholders.

The Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa’s Integrated Reporting Awards are the leading awards of their kind in the Southern African business fraternity and are co-hosted by the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) Limited who have partnered with CGISA.

3. Gold award- Integrated report of year (Financial Reporting Awards)

The Fund was recognised for providing an all-round integrated report that demonstrated a comprehensive explanation of the value that the organization has created for each stakeholder category in 2020. The awards, which are organized by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) aim at enhancing quality of financial and business reporting in Uganda by encouraging the implementation of financial reporting standards and other best practices in reporting as prescribed by ICPAU for the various sectors of Uganda’s economy.

4. Public Sector award -(Financial Reporting Awards)

The Fund was recognized for providing a transparent disclosure of its corporate governance practices in its 2020 annual report.

5. Sustainability Reporting award – (2020 Financial Reporting Awards)

The Fund was recognized for providing engaging and informative insights into the organization’s societal and environmental impact as well as its employee and stakeholder relations in its 2020 annual report.

6. Presentation and Communication award- (2020Financial Reporting Awards)

The Fund was recognized for an outstanding presentation of its 2020 annual report in a compelling, informative and creative portrayal of the Fund’s achievements.

7. Best Mixed-Use Development Uganda, and Best Residential Development Uganda

The Fund’s Solana Lifestyle and Residences project scooped two five-star awards, Best Mixed-Use Development Uganda, and Best Residential Development Uganda at the prestigious International Property Awards.

8. Overall winner, Regional Company (from the rest of Africa)

Overall winner, Regional Company (from the rest of Africa), Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa Integrated Reporting Awards.

9. Gold award - Integrated report of the year

Gold award - Integrated report of the year, Overall winner in the Public sector category and First runner-up award for the Communication, Sustainability and Corporate Governance categories, 2022 Financial Reporting (FiRe) awards.
