Our Cause

Started in 2015, the NSSF Kampala Hills Run is an annual fun charity run with the objective of raising funds for public schools across the country. Through partnerships with various corporate institutions and individuals, the Fund pools contributions which are used to refurbish selected public primary schools, with the ultimate objective of improving learning conditions to reduce school dropouts and improve the quality of education.

In the previous editions, we’ve raised over UGX 800 million in cash and over 1 billion in kind. 13 primary schools in Kampala, Soroti, Otuke, and Kisoro were impacted, with over 60 classrooms constructed or refurbished, benefiting close to 15,000 pupils every school day.

Join the movement to transform public schools this year by registering for the 2023 NSSF Kampala Hills Run as a group of friends and family, company team, or individual runner. The run is slated for 2nd July 2023, at the Kololo grounds starting at 6am.

By participating in the NSSF Kampala Hills Run, you agree to these terms and conditions.
